ABSTRACT
Indonesia is a rich country with diversity of mineral resources, from which gold ore resources in either primary or secondary deposits have attracted many mining businesses both the small scale and the big ones and even local people which are believed to have begun since early cultural history of Indonesian mankind.
Fortunately, Indonesia is situated on potential geological setting which enable to form a widespread of small to big dimention of gold deposits through the most parts of the country that is manageable for either the needs of people gold mining or big scale gold mining industries.
Factually, there are more small gold deposits have been discovered throughout country with comparation to the big ones, these give an advantage for development people gold mines which may involve the local society with using either a simple technology or equipment.
The most important is involvement of central government and autonomy governments to give more attention in management of people gold mining business, particularly in connection with control management of its activity to create a concept of good mining practice. Hopefully, it enable to anticipate in reducing unemployment, increasing rural society income and contribute to national social-economic development.
